The Prince of Wales is a traditional pub, and was redesigned in the late nineties. The pub has an open plan design, with an large area for dining and a pool and dart board area, where you can catch all the latest football and sports, on our large screens and TV’s. There is also an outside seating area to front of the pub, for those sunnier days.
This is the pub’s second location for the Prince of Wales, as the original was located in the town centre, which is approximately 1.4 miles from the Prince of Wales today.Read more...
Jarrow has a rich historic history of the Venerable Bede, the Lindisfarne Scripts, in the location of the monk’s monastery at Bede’s World, Jarrow. Also, has a history of Viking invasion, the town shopping area is named the Viking centre with its Viking statues.
